This demo
will show you how to import captured studies from your Palm handheld device
onto your PC. At Quetech we understand that engineers and time study practitioners
like to organize their study data in a variety of ways, depending on the
application, job, and personal style. Because of this, WorkStudy+ was
designed to allow you to import your time studies right into Excel instead
of using a custom statistics program. Once
your study data is in Excel, you can organize, format, and analyze the
data in a fashion that suits your needs...
Here is an
example of how quick and easy it is to import your study data:

Place
your Palm handheld device on its cradle, and perform a hot-sync
operation.
(If you are viewing this demo, and have never used a Palm type
handheld device, you may not be familiar with the hot-sync operation.
This operation allows your Palm device to exchange information with
your PC, and will transfer your WorkStudy+ study files onto the
PC. Hot-syncing is a simple operation that you accomplish with the
touch of a button.)

On
your PC, load the WorkStudy+ Excel file that was installed on your
computer by the WorkStudy+ installation program.
(If you chose a standard installation of WorkStudy+, this file
can be accessed by going into the "Start" menu, under "WorkStudy+
Excel Import". If you are prompted with a warning that the file
contains macros, you should select the "Enable Macros" option.
Once loaded, you will see two buttons located on the first worksheet
of the file.)
